Do you have a dream? An ambition? And what is an ambition actually? Maybe it's something like a detailed vision of your personal future, which you will have to force upon the natural course of things. It's good to ponder your ambitions from time to time. Here some pondering about the general idea concept in order to strengthen and be more conscious of ambitionary drives. For one, is it good to follow your ambition? Because at some point you will have to be stonecold to the people you care for, the moment when your priorities reveal themselves. And that's where it gets nasty, it'll all depend on how much you are willing to sacrifice for your dream; friends, family and yourself. To me it seems that it's in general a male trait to be cruel, hard but also blind when it comes to the battle towards one's top. Some ambitions seem to be imbued with more 'will', some more abstract or idealized. Hitler's vision must have been strong and blind, how else could he have inspired tons of people? Sometimes a dream can be so strong that it absorbs those of other people, such as the ambitions of a nation (think of the older China). And most importantly, does a 'mistaken ambition' exist? In other words, can you have a dream that is not the right one? Could you be pursuing the wrong aspects of your dream? Could you be striving for a distinct profession while actually it's essentially only about the feeling you get from the profession. Could your dream to be famous famous boil down to the desire of having life-lasting influences on people? Small differences matter. Can an ambition be essentially mistaken or only wrong in the sense of the particular road taken? That is the question.
