Then, what is different about strolling through the city with my company instead of wandering alone? In my experience, everything. After a while, there is no "I" walking around anymore but an "us" having "our experience": shared, expressed and beyond control. The social sensation of Hong Kong isn't metaphysically impinging or an aesthetic storm. Our experience is enthusiastic and frenetic, flowing smoothly between laughs, beers and photos.
